Zoo trip part 2

Along with all the amazing animals we saw at the zoo there were so many beautiful sights from the plants to the statues. There were sooooo many butterflies they also made everything more beautiful i wish i could get butterflies in my yard every day!  : ) I see one or two every other month!

They had a nice playground area for kids Alexander loved the spider web rope climb. And since the zoo was not packed he did not have to worry about taking turns or sharing it. 

 But i tell you one thing that was nearly impossible to do and that was to get him to sit or stand still for one minute to take a picture. 

 Or to get him to look into the camera and smile he was all over the place : ) But hey thats why we went so he could run around see some animals and enjoy being a kid.

 This was the best picture i got from him!

 They also had a dinosaur section that was pretty neat and Alexanders favorite part of the zoo. The dinosaurs actually moved around and made noise and one even sprayed water on you when he sneezed.

Alexander got scared right after taking this picture the dinosaur roared and Alex went running !

And Gabriel was a perfect baby he did not cry a single time he just enjoyed all the things around him. He was even good on the car ride home.

 It is amazing the positions babies fall asleep in that looks so uncomfortable.

Zoo part 1

WARNING LOTS OF PICTURES!!!

The day started early for us we got up at 6 a.m. to get ready for the zoo. My sister got to my house at 7 a.m. and gave Alexander his birthday present since she did not see him yesterday. 

A spiderman action figure!! He wanted to bring him with us to the zoo and since the car ride there is almost 2 hours i told him spiderman can ride with us but when we got to the zoo he would have to stay in the car so that he wont get lost and he said ok. So we were on the road at 7:20 a.m. and boy on the way there we took some back roads that had a lot of farms and land and it was sooooooo beautiful I would have taken pictures but I was driving and I cant multi task that well : ) But I just felt so peaceful driving threw the land.

We arrived at the zoo right after 9 a.m. and luckily it was not packed at all I am guessing because school starts tomorrow. So we did not have to wait to see animals we just flowed right threw the entire zoo.

Alexanders Birthday

Today my not so little man turned 3 years old I can not believe how fast time is going by I feel like it was only a year ago that i went in and had my c-section with him and brought him home!

We wrapped his presents last night and had them set up on the couch so once he woke up this morning this is what he would see and boy was he happy.

As you can see he is really into the avengers. 

He loved all of the presents and has been taking turn playing with all of them. He has not once asked to watch tv or go outside just to busy with all the new toys.We were going to go to the park after we ate lunch since that is one of the things he really enjoys doing but it was raining all day so we could not do that. But tomorrow we will be going to the NC zoo and i do believe he will enjoy that. I am also looking forward to going I went there once when i was in the 6th grade and well that was a while ago so i dont even remember any of the trip.

 

 Gabriel was a happy camper today. He is also getting big and he is finally sleeping the night threw well at least the past 4 nights! I do hope he keeps sleeping the night threw because I can defiantly tell the difference energy wise.

 Along with Alexander turning 3 we finally got his room together and he has been sleeping in his own bed for the past 2 nights! Which is also nice considering for the past 3 years I have had to share a bed with him and Eddie who both move like crazy in their sleeps. But now he has his avengers bed and he has not gotten up in the middle of the night to crawl into our bed yet.

We still have to get a few things for his room to finnish it completly but he has enjoyed it so far.

 If you cant tell what is on the wall it is a Hulk fist light that is made to look like it is smashing threw the wall.

The book shelf belongs in Gabriels room but we have to buy a shelf for his toys first. And the box beside the book shelf is a sandbox i ordered for him last summer and I am still waiting for Eddie to put it together at times like this i wish i was good at doing handy work because i would have done it the week i got it.

Fresh Food

One thing I love about when summer is here is the endless supply of fresh grass or weeds for the rabbits.I love taking time in the afternoon to go around my yard looking for dandelions and picking their leaves i guess that's what you would call them ? It is very relaxing for me.

 And as you can see the rabbits enjoy them alot : )

 Shadow eats his up the fastest and always has room for seconds!
